Hippo Creek Safaris - Kenya-in-Depth - a Luxury Safari

Mount Kilimanjaro/Amboseli National Park

A wonderful safari in Kenya that explores the best of the National Parks, Reserves, and Private Ranches.

Day 1
Depart the States

Day 2
Arrive Europe and change aircraft as you arrive in Africa this evening. Fly to Nairobi, where you are met and escorted to small elegant hotel overnight, located in suburb of city

Days 3, 4
Fly to private tented camp in the foothills of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Two days exploring Amboseli National Park and the surrounding area. Fantastic Elephant country. Luxury tents with views of Kilimanjaro from your deck.

Days 5, 6
Fly north of the equator today to a fantastic camp in Meru National Park. Explore with game walks, drives in open vehicles. Luxury lodge, wonderful food and unique activities.

Days 7, 8, 9
Fly to your next destination. Here spend 3 days on a private ranch offering unique activities. From game walks, river rafting (dependant upon water levels), quad bikes, camel or horse back safari, game drives in open vehicles, interactions with the local Maasai people, the chance to sleep out (should you desire) on wonderful Star Beds - with the southern skies as your roof- and, the game is unique to the rest of Africa with Grevy Zebra, Reticulated Giraffe, and Blue-legged Somali Ostrich, plus many other interesting mammals to view.

Days 10, 11, 12
Fly to the famous Masai Mara today, your final destination in Kenya, and home to the greatest population of big cats in the country. Your luxury camp is situated just outside the park's borders, which affords you the opportunity to enjoy some different activities again. You can venture from the camp after dark with your guide/vehicle as spotlights are used to view the animals once the sun has set. The Lion usually hunt from dusk to dawn, the night creatures become active and you will have the opportunity to be on a game drive once night has come.

Day 13
Fly to Nairobi this morning where a day room is yours to relax in prior to your flight to Europe this evening.

Day 14
Upon arriving in Europe, you change aircraft and are home in the States this afternoon or evening.
